Next Project - Roads...

Have been experimenting with a new concept for scalable, customisable roads, that can be installed in minutes...

First versions below:

Plain suburban street, basic road markings...

Railroad Crossing with detail road markings...

More soon as I perfect the technique...

  1. Road looks excellent, very realistic. Interested to see your process.

Since you are modeling a US locale shouldn't the line at the roadway edge be white? Yellow lines mean traffic in opposite direction. White lines mean traffic in same direction.

    1. You're right Alan, been reading up on the standards now. Will be changed in the next version...

  2. I am hooked on your road technique. And the road sides should be white. The yellow middle line was a mid-1900 development, but I don't recall there ever being yellow on the sides.

  3. Really good looking roadway there. Looking forward to seeing more and learning more about it.
