Rounding out the day with some experimenting with Tamiya Panel Line, in black.
It really does highlight & bring out the details of the locomotive, I used Mr Color - Thinner to clean up any over-runs & also to blend in...
Next stage is to coat with Testors Dullcoat and do some more weathering...
Have never used Panel Line. Sounds a lot like an India ink wash. Is there much difference between the two?
ReplyDeleteNot sure of the constituent parts of the Panel Line but it performs better than India Ink IMHO. Flows much better, it's quite amazing how far one application will go.
